Isn't this against the law? Well you could work for another lab, and be treated poorly too. Try MDL. What's the deal with big lab companies? They don't seem to get it without the phlebotomist, to draw the blood tests requested by the doctors, where would they be? I understand ALL labs have their problems, but isn't it time the big wheels listen? Although I love phlebotomy, it makes me think maybe I should have considered another field of study. This is a sorry state of affairs. More training needed--perhaps. Consideration for the phlebotomist and good working conditions would be a start. It's always all about money. From the beginning and each time thereafter I have informed LabCorp of the situation and current status however they keep billing me. yesterday I received an unsigned form letter informing me that I signed a paper that Medicare was liely too deny these charges. That is totally false. I signed a paper saying that if medicare did not pay I would be responsible. There is a difference. Yesterday when calling the billing number I spoke with Dee who had an attitude. She could not get out of repetition in answering and was not answering my question. In short she was rude reading me the riot act. Well the good news I check this www site finding the lab corp is not so great. Guess what? I will seeking another lab. After taking off work and driving 30 miles to have this done I was told to call back for results. My blood had never been picked up and left over the weekend (Thurs 7 am draw). Unable to use the blood and now have to go back and repeat. Problem being I ran out of medicine and the levels would not be correct if drawn again at this time. She admits she can be snippy but when she gets stearn and defends herself to the ubruly jerks that come into her office she gets complained on. I would really hate to see her quit but I wouldn't blame her because me and some of the other regulars can see that the stress is really affecting her in all the wrong ways. she needs help in her office and still corporate does nothing. absolutely pathetic. she gets alot of people who don't read or write english and you try doing a drug screen on a patientwho can't even read or write their name in english. i don't know how she does it. but someone needs to step in and fix this. As a former employee I’m here to say this employee was doing what LabCorp has directed them to do. If you have an outstanding bill pay or no testing is to be done. Supposedly it’s how LabCorp keeps from having too many outstanding debts owed to them.

I’m very sorry this man and his wife suffered and were denied service but put the blame where the blame goes, not on a political agenda.

Obviously no company can hire a complete staff of the friendliest people in the world, when impatient people can't sit their a** down and wait.. we have to put all your information in our system in order to bill correctly, and sometimes patient have 5 insurances and only provide 1... That's your own damn fault. Give it a rest and maybe find a someone that can put up with your s***.. then maybe you won't need to complain. And to the ex-employees, get over it and go work for another lab, unless you got fired from there too and made another website of non-sense.
