To the lady that is cring over getting to the lab at 4:55pm We can not get any over time at all!!!! It takes 30 min for your blood to clot after the draw, then it has to be processed, bagged and shipped out. So trust me she did not get out of there untill about 5:45 thanks to you. How rude is it of you to thank you are specal and can come running in at the last min. We wont to go home to after a long day. So I look at it that she was doing a good job of thking care of you, because if it was my lab you would be coming back to next day or going to some were eles.

Labcorp was a good Comp. to work for at one time I say at one time. Labcorp talks about all the money they are making well it is because they dont pay there employees any thing we dont even good rases it all go’s to the CEO, how about only 2% a year not much if you are making the top dollar for them $ 15.00hr I would like to see the CEO and other big dogs live off that and PT wonder why we are so rude you take the chance of getting HIV or HEP B for $15.00 every day

I agree with Anon2–it’s so bad that they are now making people charge $100 on each person’s credit card to hold in case of an amount due…I just keep telling my patients to tell them they don’t HAVE a credit card…they can’t refuse to do the lab work…and you won’t have to give up that credit card number. The more credit cards we get the more bonus the supervisors get! Not the people that actually DO the work…there is also bonuses given for us when we collect bills due…depending on how we enter that payment they give bonuses on that money captured as well. It’s really pretty bad…if you take a look at the job postings for “phlebotomy” you will notice that LabCorp is the ONLY one that has 100′s of job openeings….and there is a reason…and it’s NOT because they are growing!! It’s the worst place I’ve EVER worked in my life! And once the job markets open up…it’s bye-by3 for 100′s of employess…LabCorp does NOT care about it’s employees…they are ONLY interested in providing cash figures to their board of directors and shareholders!

YOU MUST NOT KNOW THE CREDIT CARD CAPTURE PROCEDURE. IF THE PATIENT DOES NOT HAVE INS., ITS EITHER CASH SALES TRANSACTION OR BILL THE DOCTORS ACCOUNT. STOP EXAGERATING AND REPRESENT THE COMPANY PROPERLY. IF YOUR NOT HAPPY KEEP IT MOVING, GO WORK FOR QUEST FIND ANOTHER JOB. IT EMPLOYEES LIKE WHO CAUSE IGNORANT BLOGS LIKE THIS.

If only the GM of the Rocky Mountain would see that after a year and a half of Teresa Grist being in the Director chair of Phlebotomy, NOTHING IS GETTING DONE!! NOTHING! Nothing is getting any better for the patients or the employees. Its a battle from hell to communicate with anyone. Or for anyone to be on the same page. If some thing is taken to a higher level there are consequences to the person who took an issue out of the phlebotomy department because nothing has been done when the situation had been followed up through the “chain of command” Maybe if VP Sovey took his D*CK out of her mouth they could see it. Its a sad situation for the patients and employees. Maybe if the ones that do their job right and take care of their patients are given some type of Kudo instead of finding something minute wrong, employees would stay. I have never seen turn around as high as I have with this company. And surprisingly no one higher up can see these issues. sad sad sad case but worse the economy sucks and everyone has to deal with this harrassment and turmoil to make ends meet.

Please, someone help! Someone, anyone who can see or monitor this rediculousness. The scrutiny we have to go through, the fear of losing our jobs, the expectations of the company to make us get credit card information from people that don’t have insurance. But we are expected to get so many credit cards a day to keep the numbers up and try to make Grist look good so our region is better than others. Listen you crazy B*tch, the world doesn’t revolve around you looking good. There are people’s lives at stake here and you only care about yourself. You don’t care about these people who need their result for treatment! FIRE HER ALREADY!!!!!!

another new person in the office of supervisors here in the desert. No one knows who is who when they need to speak to a supervisor. H3ll no one knows what is right and what is wrong down there. What needs to be done for someone to investigate an entire region???

I agree!! But wrong picture to post. Thats a nice draw chair….no labcorp in phoenix would ever invest in something that nice! “Not in the budget.” But funny the VP says there is extra money to “throw around” in a meeting and nothing is fixed or taken care of. ie Mold in walls of PSCs to get them shut down, dirty, nasty rooms……..ugh
